Thomas Ironmonger, born ca 1685 resided with John Moring in 1702,
(Tithables - at least age 16)
9 Nov 1708, "Judgement is granted Thomas Ironmonger against Mr.
Samuel Thompson, Executor of the Last Will and Testament of John
Thompson, being Administrator of the Estate of Samuel Alsobrook who was
Administor of the Estate of Mary Ironmonger, deceased for nine hundred
ninety nine pounds of Tobacco...." (O.B. Film #0034129, p. 316)
Thomas died 1710/1711 without a will the last of the Ironmonger family of
Surry Co., VA - his only relatives were probably the Alsobrook children.
JOHN HIGH, who had evidently married Mary Alsobrook, requested and
received the administration of his Estate.
